BOARDING POLICIES

PAYMENT: Payment is due at the time of check in. We accept Visa, Mastercard, check or cash. If someone else other then the owner is dropping the pet off we will accept a credit card over the phone on the first day of boarding.

FOOD: Your pet will be fed high quality Eukanuba dog food; if you provide your own food, each meal must be bagged separately in zip top bags. If food is brought in a large container or the original bag, a fee of $1.00 per day will be added to your bill. We will do our best to meet any special requirements your pet needs with their feeding, however for warming of food, special preparation and/or storage there will be a fee of $1.00 added per day.

FECAL EXAMINATIONS: Your pet will be using a common area for exercise. For protection from possible internal parasite hazards, a current fecal exam certificate is required prior to boarding. Current is defined as up to 1 year prior to boarding.

VACCINATIONS: Bordatella vaccinations must have been given within the last 6 months. All other vaccinations: Rabies, Distemper/Parvo are at the discretion of your veterinarians. Vaccination certificates may be faxed to (303) 683-1543. We must have vaccination history no later then 48 hours prior to the boarding stay; if an appointment needs to be made at our clinic the owner must make time to attend the appointment with the pet.

BEDS: Durable and comfortable beds are provided. We are unable to accept bedding. We do recommend you provide a non- valuable, disposable item that will assist in the transition from home to kennel.

CRATES: We are unable to accept large crates as they limit the room available inside the pets run to move around and access food and water bowls. Crates no larger then 2 x 2 feet will be allowed.

TOYS: Toys, larger then a tennis ball are welcome. Be advised, however, would such toys become a health or odor hazard, they will be thrown away and not replaced.

BATH: As an additional service, baths are available on the day of the pet’s scheduled departure. This service must be arranged upon check in and the fees will vary according to size, type and condition of your pet. If your pet is scheduled for a grooming service, please schedule pick up 12:00pm or later.

MEDICATIONS: All medication must be in the original containers from your veterinarian. The condition being treated must be noted. No injectable medications may be given during boarding. Medication fees are: $1.00 per day for oral medications, $2.00 per day for topical application, and $3.00 per day for ear treatments. Since this is a boarding facility, not a hospital, My Pet’s Place reserves the right to refuse pets at high medical risk.

TREATS: Each day pets are given complimentary Iams biscuit treats with permission from the pet’s owner. Frosty Paws frozen treats are available for purchase for $1.50 each that will be given each afternoon. You are welcome to package treats for your pet and we will be happy to give your pet one daily.

HOLIDAYS: All holidays have a minimum stay requirement, no exceptions will be made for early pick up request. The kennel staff is not authorized to allow clients into the building during non-business hours for any reason.

Hours of operation: Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
*Excludes Holidays Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Sunday 3:00 p.m to 6:00 p.m.

CHECK-OUT TIME: Monday through Saturday 12:00 p.m.

*All pets, except those receiving baths, not checked out by 12:00p.m. will be charged for another day.
Sunday is considered a full day.
